The Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference finals with a 99-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, giving them a 4-2 series lead.
In the Heat’s triumph, Jimmy Butler scored 32 points and Max Strus contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Luka Doncic scored 33 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 113-86 victory over the Phoenix Suns, tying the series at 3-3.
On Sunday, the deciding game seven will be played in Phoenix.
So far, the side playing at home has won all six games.
In an easy win for his team, Slovenian standout Doncic added 11 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.
For the third time in the series, he has scored more than 30 points, and he has contributed more than 25 points in each of the six games.
“This team is special to me,” Doncic remarked. “These people are fantastic, and we work hard and assist each other, so it gives me hope.”
In the Western Conference finals, the winner of the Mavericks and Suns will face either the Golden State Warriors or the Memphis Grizzlies. The Warriors are up 3-2 in the series.
Miami will face either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Bucks, who won the NBA championship last season, are up 3-2 in their play-off series.
Butler of the Heat told ESPN, “We’re not frightened of nobody.” “Everyone has spent the entire year preparing for this.”
